Structure

The Highland Society of London was founded in 1778 and was registered by the Charity Commission as a charitable organisation on 7th September 1965 (no. 244472). The Society is governed by an Act of Incorporation dated 21st May 1816. On 19th October 2022, the Society registered with Companies House as a company limited by guarantee (no. 14430503), with its registered office in England and Wales; and on 14th July 2023, the Society registered as a charity in Scotland with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (no. SC052685).
